Do I need an asbestos test?
If your home was built before 1990 — yes, Alberta OHS requires testing before disturbing the texture. We arrange the sample and only start after a clean result. Positive results go to a licensed abatement firm first.
Scrape or skim-coat — which is better?
Painted-over texture usually can't be scraped cleanly, so we skim-coat over it. We confirm the right method at the walkthrough — the price range is similar.
How much mess should I expect?
We mask floors, walls and openings completely before any work starts. You get the room back clean.
